I've heard from many of you about your outrage over the Government's plan to cut Toronto Public Health's (TPH) funding by $1 billon over the next 10 years. I believe this is a deeply dangerous decision that will negatively affect the lives of many.
With almost 100 public health services and programs that TPH operates and contributes to in Beaches-East York alone, this will have a direct impact on our local community. Programs like school immunization, food inspections, diabetes prevention, leadership skills training for at-risk youth, and outbreak response.
